I had been thinking of doing a portrait of Kurt Russell from the film The Thing for a long time. I have also made many attempts. With varying degrees of success. The one presented here cost me considerable effort. Perhaps it comes easier to others, but I got tired. I decided to use quite small digital brushes and painstakingly, piece by piece I trudged to the end.
